Alexander Korostinsky was born in Reno, NV. His father was a jazz drummer and taught Alex drums at an early age. By High School, Alexander had taken up the electric bass and quickly scored a position in the revered Reno High Jazz Ensemble. His love for music took him into the jazz program at University of Nevada, Reno where he studied under Hans Halt and earned a degree in music. A Reno native, Alexander has made a name for himself as an in-demand bassist, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist and has been teaching multiple instruments for over 10 years in the Reno area.
