Erika Paul loves that feeling you get when you see the light go on in a student’s head as they ‘get it’. “I love to see the excitement in their eyes when they master a skill that moves them to the next level,” she says. “I feel like I’ve played an important part in getting them there.” And Erika has been guiding students to success for 30 years now. Erika began her training when she was young. She says it offered her an outlet for self-expression and the discipline she now sees led her to success in life. She’s played many instruments over the years but now she focuses on piano, voice and beginning guitar. With an A.A. degree in Music from the College of San Mateo, a B.A in Music from San Jose University and a permanent certification from the Music Teachers National Association, she’s excited to take on each and every student that comes her way. www.jazzqmusic.com
