Cody Zuver teaches all levels of violin, beginner to intermediate levels of piano and Cello. He teaches Suzuki and Applebaum methods, combining different types of methods and approaches based on the needs of the student while incorporating music theory into the learning process. He believes having fun while learning is a big part of maintaining the pupils’ interests along with keeping them challenged and motivated.

Cody is a Reno Native and started learning piano and violin at the age of 5. He excelled in music through High School in the Orchestra program, adding cello to his list of instruments played. He attended UNR in 2013 to obtain a degree in music performance and theory. Since his graduation in 2019, Cody has been composing electronic music as well as playing in local orchestras and bands to hone his skills. He taught unofficially off and on throughout the years but decided to turn his passion into a full time position at Pacific Mist Music as of 2022.

Cody has progressed into many different positions such as back-up keyboardists in pop/ electronic bands, singer/ songwriter, local orchestra performances on cello and violin and electronic music composition while incorporating what he has learned from obtaining a Bachelors in Music from the University of Nevada, Reno. He strives to learn something new about music everyday, whether it may be Music Theory, Vocal pedagogy, history, or interesting techniques from contemporary musicians of today.
