Gerry Boldy

Piano

Gerry Boldy believes that every student takes his or her own path and their own time with music, and that it opens doors for each and every one of them. Her philosophy is to help each student individually make progress. She took to the piano herself and began playing at the age of eleven. She pursued piano lessons and even married into music. Her husband played with the John Carlton Orchestra and has a Doctorate from the Chicago Conservatory of Music. Gerry has always been a fan of good music and she has always been a teacher. She has been a member of the local Piano Teachers Guild for 30 years and has coached dozens of students to great ability with her proven approach of teaching individuals at their own pace. And she strongly believes that literacy in music helps children with all other learning and gives them a strong foundation in life.
