Violin, Piano, & Guitar

Kat has been making music since the age of 12, starting on the violin and moving on to study piano, electric bass, and guitar. She specializes in both Celtic fiddle and classical music, and currently serves as principal second violin in the Carson City Symphony and the Carson Valley Pops Orchestra. Kat also plays second violin in the Nerds of Paradise string quartet, electric bass and violin in a local indie rock band, and frequently performs solo and with other groups for various events in the area. In addition to teaching violin, piano, and guitar, she enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling.
