Mark Hull

Violin

Mark Hull picked up his first violin at the age of 10 and has never put it down. Even at that young age he somehow knew violin would be his life. Playing with such known greats as Jenny Rudin, he learned the basics and the flair of his instrument. Now he passes that inside knowledge on to his students one at a time. Mark has played with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra, the San Francisco Chamber Players, and for the Music in the Mountains Festival held annually in Grass Valley and in Nevada City. He has been in Reno teaching and playing violin since 1999 and he loves the way a child’s face lights up when they understand the technique and see how music can demonstrate emotion and take you a world away without ever leaving the room.
