Violin & Piano

Alexandra is a student at the University of Nevada, Reno, studying International Business and French. Violin has been a passion of hers for as long as she can remember. Alexandra started studying classical violin when she was five years old, and from there, she hasn't stopped. One of her favorite aspects of violin, and music in general, is playing with others. She played in the Reno Youth Philharmonic for seven years as concertmaster, section leader, and participant. also enjoyed playing Old-Time and Celtic fiddle. She started when she was 12, and since then, has participated in many fiddle competitions, jigs, and performances. This genre of music is one of her favorites. Now, so excited to share her love of the violin with others and to hopefully find the same passion in another student!
