Chloe Deamer
Vocal, Piano, Violin
About me - My name is Chloe, I grew up in Davis, CA and I am a multi-instrumentalist playing violin, piano, voice, and guitar. I have a twin sister who is also a musician and lives in Portland, OR. I am bilingual in Spanish, having attended immersion schooling through the 12th grade and earning my Seal of Biliteracy. I played Field Hockey College and I have a crazy dog named Kenzo.
Musical Background & Education - I have been classically trained in voice and did a lot of musical theater since the age of eight. I am also classically trained in violin, having performed in school orchestra programs from age 10 through high school graduation. I was recruited to play Field Hockey at Seton Hill University where I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music. My major instrument was voice, and I was classically trained in piano and music theory. I am also a self-taught guitarist with eight years of experience and recently earned my Master’s in Music Industry Administration from CSU Northridge in 2025.
Professional & Coaching Experience - I have an extensive background in education and coaching, including roles as a high school field hockey coach, a snowboard instructor, and a mountain bike coach. My experience also includes working as a substitute teacher and a wilderness camp counselor. These roles have allowed me to develop a patient, adaptable teaching style for students of all ages.
Current Work - In addition to teaching music, I work as an insurance broker for Nestled Insurance. I specialize in helping employers implement tax-qualified preventative healthcare platforms that provide extra benefits to employees while saving the company money on payroll taxes. I also have a background in catering and bartending so you may see me at events around Reno!
Hobbies - From my extensive background, I also have a lot of hobbies which include snowboarding, mountain biking, backpacking, hiking and camping. I of course enjoy music as well as cooking and baking. You can find me reading or thrifting most days as well as walking my dog.
