Mason Frey is a musician and songwriter who has gigged professionally in the Reno/Tahoe region and out of state for over a decade. He graduated with a BA in music from University of Nevada, Reno in 2018 and specializes in fingerstyle acoustic guitar but also teaches electric guitar, electric bass guitar, beginner piano, and vocals.
Mason assists students of all levels to reach new heights in their fretboard & music theory knowledge from understanding number charts, reading sheet music and tablature, or interpreting a lead sheet. Mason has the ability to break down easy beginner single note melody lines in tangible sections for the student to practice and can provide notation and tablature when needed.
When not playing music, Mason enjoys skiing, running, and hiking.
